PRISM was granted exclusive access to produce a short film series inside CHINA ROUGE. Galaxy Macau commissioned the online video series that depicts an artist's journey inside the private world of CHINA ROUGE. Like pieces in a jigsaw puzzle, 'The Voyeur' plays out in 9 episodes, with each video combining to form one 9-minute short story.
According to Campbell McLean, the story uses dramatized storytelling as a means to create branded content for the venue. "We had to tease viewers as to what they could expect to see inside China Rouge without showing too much or giving the story away entirely." The videos allude to concepts and themes as illustrated by the legendary stories of The Red Chamber, Journey to the West, Three Kingdoms, and Plum in the Golden Vase.
Liu Guo Zhu - Executive Chinese Chef for Wynn Macau returns to Beijing, taking viewers back in time to the Qing Dynasty when a Cantonese official took up residence in Beijing and made it his personal quest to blend the finest of northern and southern cuisines. Chef Liu re-visits the historic Beijing Hotel, an ancient courtyard house near Tiananmen and the Great Wall, where several lavish dinner parties were held for State Guests.
The Golden Flower video is the sixth in a series of chef profile videos commissioned by the Wynn Macau. Each video is narrated in the first person as the chefs describe personal preferences for the use and preparation of ingredients and special dishes.
